MM: Let’s Dance

As the tribute to David Bowie who passed away yesterday, this is one Let’s Dance. Let’s Dance is part of Bowie’s album bearing the same title released in 1983. I was 11 years old back then. I started to listen to this song because of my father and his siblings.

The song and its clip are Bowie’s statement against racism. It is also a metaphor of colonialism.

David Bowie, born David Jones was a multi talented & innovative artist. Everytime he knew to reinvent himself. Not only was he a singer/musician/songwriter but he was an actor as well.

Some of his songs that are my faves: Under pressure (an excellent colaboration with Queen), Changes, Heroes, Blue Jean & Starman.

Farewell David Bowie. Thank you for your legacy.
