EF: Jane the survivor

Tada! I proudly present you Jane. She is a remarkable woman. Jane is able to survive in any kind of situation. She learned her survival skills during her time at the military commando. She has been through a lot. Her experiences in the army have formed her the way she is now.

You can drop Jane in a tropical jungle with minimal gears and she manages to survive. In cold and harsh antarctica Jane always finds her way to survive as well. Her flora and fauna knowledge is excellent. Jane knows which plants are edible or not. She comprehends how some animals react to certain moves. She is calm, calculated and really aware of her surroundings. Jane masters her martial arts very well.

She never gives up. This word doesn’t even exist in her dictionary. She continously pushes herself to the higher level. Her worst enemy is herself.

Jane is ….someone I am not because Jane is my alter ego. She is inspired by all the brave men and women out there who are able to survive in the nature without destroying it. What attracts me the most is her ability to stay cool while observing the situations, calculating her chances without getting nervous. She has her own demons alright yet she recognizes them clearly. That is why she is always in control of herself.

Jane is….someone I turn to when I face a difficult situation. Her voice whispers in my ears, telling  me not to give up.

    • I beg to differ Andik. Lara Croft comes from a wealthy aristocrate family while Jane is a plain Jane. Lara learned her skills on expensive private schools, Jane needs to work her butts to be admitted to military commando🙂 Both ladies are adventurous. That is where the similarity ends.

    • That is where her name comes from, G.I. Jane. Jane refers to the expression plain Jane as well. On the surface no one would suspect how Jane would be like as a person, because her appearance is average, plain Jane.

GI Jane is in the middle of training in the military, this Jane has quit her military job. Now she embarks her adventurous life.

  1. Same as Mr. Andik, I kinda remember Lara Croft :hehe
But you’ve implied that she is different, so I have no question left :))

    • Yes, because Jane doesn’t kill people. And she doesn’t solve mysteries or cases as Lara does. Jane is a strong woman who is able to survive in various harsh conditions in the nature. Jane bonds more with nature.
