A day in the life of the internet

We are now passed the half of October. Within 2 months 2015 will greet us. To those interested in data and infographic, here is an overview of a day in the life of the internet in 2014. Huge right? Internet is inseparable in our daily life. Look at what we do there every day. In fact this very moment you and I contribute to the blogging statistics. It says ‘Now anyone has the ability to speak to a global readership’. For that and for other social networks, I thank thee Internet, and your inventors too.

  1. Because nowadays people tend to look for information and communicate using internet, mbak Yoyen.. And leave those books behind. Even doing online transaction is just a common thing, me myself use it very well.
Well, it’s an interesting data, anyway πŸ˜‰

  2. I once asked a colleague about office before the internet and email. She found out that the colleague who used typewriter paid has more aptitude to the details rather than those who use computer.Internet changes our life, in many ways.

    Interesting graphic!

  3. Sekarang bener2 hampir seluruh aspek kehidupan kita pake internet ya mba.. Mau cari tau apa2 pasti yg dipake internet dulu. Jauh berbeda sama beberapa tahun lalu yg kalo mau pake internet mesti ke warnet dan bayar itupun juga masih jarang banget πŸ˜€

  4. Iya yah mba Yo, internet dah jadi bagian dalam hidup manusia sehari2.. Lah bangun pagi aja dah langsung cek hp πŸ˜€

  5. Yeap, everything is depending on the internet these days, I like the idea of getting your information from the internet when you are doing some research for school projects or for history. I usually so a little shopping and browse most of the time.

We went on a road trip last weekend to Pittsburgh and we have a navigation system in our van but yet we still got lost as the satellite got confused a little bit. Then MY daughter asked the question, what happen to the people do not have navigation in their cars? I told her that they use map to find their way. That’s how we used to do it. Luckily I love maps and on every road trip we took, I made a point of stopping by the tourist info in every state/ province/ country to get the local/ road map. I collect them as well. so at least my kids can see how I appreciate maps.

I think sometimes the internet or technology to be exact make us lazy in a way that we are so depending on it.
