Last Sunday Arnhem welcomed the Living Statues to the city. It was the 10th edition. Last year I missed the event but not this year. I came quite late an hour before the closing but I managed to take some pics.
As in the previous years there were three categories: kids, adult amateurs and adult professionals. Here are the kids. This year the bar has been set higher. The kids are getting better now in both concepting and execution.
Beautiful right? Some artists interacted well with public. They performed an act. Just like performing on a street during an ordinary day, visitors rewarded the statues by giving money. The professionals come from all over the world and they do this street art for a living.
The World Living Statues Festival takes place in Arnhem annually, last week end of September.
